Children at St Stephen’s
At St Stephen’s we think Sundays should be exciting, fun and a place where friendships can grow - no matter what the age.
We think Sundays should provide spaces for children to explore faith and discover more about God; being nurtured in curiosity about him and encouraged by his love.
Groups
Each Sunday our children are invited into their six different age groups which currently run as three larger groups. We continue to seek more volunteers so that we can eventually offer each age group its own space for faith exploration and discovery.
ChurchSuite, registration & check-in.
As we have 200+ children registered for children’s work and an average attendance of 90+ children each Sunday we face the logistical challenge of ensuring our children are safe and leave groups with the right adult. For this reason we run a registration and check-in system with the help of ChurchSuite.
An overview of the registration process can be found at: https://support.churchsuite.com/article/392-child-check-in We will be using the “Register first, then check-in” version of the system as we hope this will prevent queues on check-in.

If you are interested in coming, please book in via our calendar. We have two services so choose the one you’re hoping to attend and book your child in for the corresponding children’s group.
NEEDED
We believe participation rather than consumption is core aspect of church. So please ask how you could contribute to God’s mission of love to his children young and old.
Your giving will help fund what we do; your presence will encourage us to keep doing it, and your shoulder to the wheel will not only lighten the load, it will warm your heart also.
