Do you want to make a difference to the lives of children?
Does being a force for good in a local community excite you?
If so then St Stephen’s may be the right church for you to pursue your unique calling.
Main Purpose of the Role
At St Stephen’s we think children’s church on Sundays should be an exciting, engaging , fun environment. A place where friendships can grow - no matter what the age.
We want to provide spaces on Sunday mornings for children to explore faith and discover more about God; being nurtured in curiosity about him and encouraged by his love. We also know that faith is worked out on the other six days of the week and we are keen to help and support children and their families discover, develop in, and embody what it means to be loved by God.
We, therefore, are looking for a Children and Families Worker to join our team on a full-time basis to:
continue the good work already underway at St Stephens;
encourage those already giving their time to grow faith in children;
maintain a safe and fun environment for the children to continue their journey of discovery in faith;
develop new and creative ways for children and their families to engage in the story of God and his love for his people.
